The Joyce Banda Foundation International

Our approach

She further elaborates this approach by presenting the key pillars for resilience and sustainability, saying that, if you prioritize the woman’s health, by giving her access to quality healthcare including maternal healthcare, she will be healthy enough to care for her family, and her children.

Beyond healthcare, if you provide the woman with the skills, knowledge, and capital to economically empower herself, she will be able to support her family and her children.

Building on this, if you provide the children of that household with access to quality education, they will be empowered to excel in life, as well as stand a better chance of becoming economically empowered and supporting the household and themselves.

The foundation carries out the vision by following its core pillars;

Leadership
